Minister Ndudzo commissions four classroom blocks in Goromonzi

Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister, Advocate Itayi Ndudzo, on Monday commissioned four blocks of classrooms at three schools that were built by the community in Goromonzi District.He first commissioned a block of three classrooms at Tsatse Primary School in Shumba Ward 3.

Construction of this block was initiated by parents and the Goromonzi Rural District Council came in with devolution funds to assist.

 

From Tsatse, Minister Ndudzo proceeded to Zimbiru Primary School in Murape Ward 4 where he commissioned a block of two classrooms before commissioning two more blocks of two classrooms each at Zimbiru Secondary School in the same ward.

 

All these classroom blocks are key in decongesting existing structures, providing a conducive environment for learners and staff.

 

Advocate Ndudzo highlighted the importance of adequate classrooms in schools.

 

“I am pleased to be commissioning these newly constructed classroom blocks. This milestone marks a significant achievement in our collective pursuit of quality education and improving the learning environment for our children,” he said.

 

He challenged learners to prioritise education, adding that education is key to achieving greater accomplisments.

 

He commended parents for putting resources together towards the construction of public infrastructure.
