Ministry of the Veterans of the Liberation Struggle Affairs unpacks Heroes Act

THE Ministry of the Veterans of the Liberation Struggle Affairs is conducting Heroes Dependents Assistance Awareness Campaign Programmes in Mashonaland West Province, with Hurungwe District having hosted the meeting in Karoi today.

The ministry has also taken advantage of the programmes to unpack the Heroes Act. Tomorrow, the ministry’s team will be at Rimuka Hall in Kadoma, while on Wednesday, Chegutu will host the team at Norton 1 High School.

They will conclude their campaign at Cooksey Hall in Chinhoyi on Thursday. War veterans, their widows and children, lauded the State for its support.

“We are looking forward to positive results. The move seeks to alleviate challenges faced by widows and orphans of war veterans,” said war collaborator, Cde Simon Miti.
