YADAH coach, Genesis “Kaka” Mangombe says they have the capacity to beat Benjani Mwaruwari’s Ngezi Platinum.
The two sides clash in a Castle Lager Premier League match at Baobab this Saturday.
The Miracle Boys have been one of the best performing teams in the second half of the season.
They have beaten Dynamos and ZPC Kariba, held Chicken Inn in Bulawayo and held Black Rhinos in Rusape.
“Of course, we are playing Ngezi, who are playing good football but not winning.
“Teams like Ngezi, who are well funded, will do whatever they can to win the game.
“Maybe, they might promise players to top up their winning bonuses, so that they can win games like these.
“They will be saying Yadah is a small team and we should collect maximum points from them.
“But, as for me, I’m prepared for that.
“I’m ready for Ngezi and there are only a few times that I’ve lost to them.
“I either draw or win against them,” he said.
He, however, said they would approach the game with caution.
“I don’t want to underrate them but I will be attacking them, from the first whistle.
“I will not respect their past victories because that is history. “At the moment, I’m concentrating on this game alone.
“I’m just taking each game as it comes.
“I’m working on the opponents I’m facing.
“I know they might change players, since the window is open, because they have the financial muscle, for instance, they bought my striker Kudakwashe Mangami.
“We will play our normal football, we will play according to our philosophy.”
He added:
“We are preparing very well for the game and I think it’s going to be an entertaining match.
“We are also under pressure because the teams at the bottom have started winning games.
“So, a few teams are no longer safe from relegation.
“We need to collect maximum points because we’ve dropped points in the two draws we had.
“If we had managed to win those games we would be in a better position on the log, so there’s pressure.”
