The opening ceremony of the month-long “Beauty with a Purpose” festival was held yesterday and will be followed by a majestic grand finale in Mumbai on March 9.
The 71st Miss World pageant kick-started on a high note.
Representing India on the global stage will be Sini Shetty, the winner of the Femina Miss India World 2022 titleholder.
Shetty will be proudly carrying the Indian National Flag.
The international event will witness the participation of contestants from 120 countries around the world.
Since the event is taking place in India after a very long time, many are excited to see the country, which will be crowned the next Miss World title holder this time.
Following the opening ceremony, the Continental Beauty With A Purpose Challenge will take place at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital today.
Over the next few weeks, several major competitions will take place across different cities in the country.
On Friday, the Summit Room at the Bharat Mandapam will host the Multi-Media Challenge along with the final round of the Head To Head Challenge.
The World Top Designer Award and Miss World Top Model will also take place along with the Miss World Talent Final in Mumbai. The grand finale of the 71st Miss World will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. — cbnctv
