MISSING MAN FOUND UNCONSCIOUS, DIES A DAY LATER

A 30-year-old man from Rusape, who went missing for five days, was found unconscious in a bushy area.

He died just a day after he was found.

Acting Manicaland Provincial Police Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka, confirmed the incident.

“The now deceased, Andrew Munyaradzi Chigenha, died on Sunday after he went missing on July 6.

“The informant, Godwin Tswatswa, informed other villagers who went to the scene and saw Andrew in an unconscious state, wearing a short and his other clothes were beside him.

“The now deceased was taken to Rusape General Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.”

The case was reported at Rusape police station and investigations led to the arrest of three suspects — Norman Nyandoro (39), Munyaradzi Togarasei (35) and Tichaona Membere (36) — who are all from the Chief Makoni area. The trio are in custody helping police with investigations.
