Moment of silence for Herentals fan

HERENTALS FC will this afternoon observe a moment of silence when they take on Chegutu Pirates in a ZIFA Northern Region Division One game slated for the National Sports Stadium B Arena. The team lost their most loyal supporter Elizabeth Chirisa this week.

She was buried in Chitungwiza on Tuesday.

Team manager Oliver Chirenje said Chirisa (27) will be honoured by the players today.

“We are looking at nothing short of three points as we need to be among the leaders before the second half.

“The team is well prepared and we have been working hard,” he said.

Only a single point separate the two sides with Chegutu Pirates on 15 points and Herentals a point behind.

In the Eastern Region the race is getting intense with FC Mutoko now on top of the table, a point ahead second-placed Bufaloes and Yadah FC.

Yadah FC will this afternoon host Mupandawa at their home in Waterfalls.
