MORE than 500 students from less privileged families have been helped to study abroad by an Indian organisation Edudite Consultancy.

The company, whose mission is to provide quality education across the world, has helped 3 000 children in Africa to date.

It offers career guidance and scholarships in addition to assistance with university applications.

Edudite Consultancy chief marketing officer, Prateek Khare, said the mission is to provide quality education to students across the globe.

“We are on a mission to provide quality education to students across the globe while studying in India by helping them secure admission to the best universities and courses.

“We had a great response from Zimbabwe.

“Most of the students were really curious to know what careers they should choose and sought counselling from us.

“We help them with career guidance so that they can choose courses relevant to the Zimbabwe market so that they’ll be able to get jobs on their return.

“We also give scholarships in sports, so apart from academics, we also give them an equal opportunity to grow in a non-academic career,” said Khare.
