Rhumba musicians Mxolisi “Mr Bones” Ndlovu and TK Dube are set to launch their joint single titled Billion Deal at a leisure spot in Kelvin North, Bulawayo on Saturday.

The song, which was composed by Mr Bones, marks the first official collaboration between the two seasoned artistes who have worked together in the industry for years, but had never released a track together.

Although the single is yet to be officially released, its teaser has already taken social media by storm, with fans sharing clips of themselves enjoying the upbeat track.
“Sekukhulum’imali yami ngapha, sekuvuk’usinga, ngiphethe ugologo lesigah Slayqueen ngapha langapha….” goes part of the viral snippet released by the duo.

The upcoming launch event is expected to showcase the artistes’ distinct performance styles, with Mr Bones known for his high-energy delivery while TK Dube blends dance routines with Rhumba-Pantsula influence.

Speaking ahead of the show, Mr Bones urged fans to attend in large numbers and promised a memorable night of entertainment.
“We urge our fans and music lovers to come to the show in their numbers. We’ll definitely play the new track because people love the snippets we’ve given them, so it’s only fair we play it,” he said.

He added that the collaboration carries special meaning for him.
“It’s my first time featuring TK and it’s a special honour for me as TK welcomed me to the music scene in 2012. We’d also love to get the fans’ feedback on our combination once the full song is out. If they love it, we may consider giving them a full album in future,” he said.

Mr Bones recently returned from a successful run of shows in Hwange and Victoria Falls over the weekend.

TK Dube, who has been focused on building his band since relocating back to Zimbabwe last year, said fans should expect a high-energy performance.
“Dubia Masters is ready for the show as we’ve been preparing thoroughly. We’ll perform some of the fans’ favourite songs, and I’m confident that the new single will be a hit because we put a lot of hard work into it. I believe fans will love it when they hear it on Saturday,” he said.

The Billion Deal single will also be available for purchase on USB during the event.
