He came. He led. He delivered!
Outgoing Student Representative Council (SRC) President of the Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) Bulawayo Region, Lloyd Mlotshwa, is bowing out with a legacy of real change that students will feel long after he’s gone.
From silencing the noisy chaos of buses near campus to boosting Wi-Fi on all four floors, Mlotshwa turned promises into progress.
Thanks to his team’s push, students now enjoy better connectivity, a new printer in the advisory office, and revamped study shades that make reading in the rain a breeze.

The cherry on top is fans and lights in the reading room to cool heads and brighten minds.
Mlotshwa also extended his leadership beyond campus gates. Representing the National SRC at the Acuho-I 3rd Colloquium and standing tall at the February 21st Youth Commemorations, Mlotshwa waved the flag for student welfare, inclusivity, and empowerment.
Off-campus, he wears many hats—high school teacher, debate coach, and founder of a youth-focused leadership foundation.
Mlotshwa transformed ZOU and the students have been left with a campus that works better, feels better, and runs smarter. Now that’s what we call a power move!
