ZIMBABWEAN teenage football sensation Corbin Mthunzi is now officially an Ipswich Town player after parting ways with Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 17-year-old midfield dynamo, who was previously on a scholarship deal at Brighton, has earned himself a two-year professional contract with Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town. His deal kicks off on Tuesday 1 July 2025.

Mthunzi was snapped up in April after impressing during a trial stint. Born in England to a British mother and Zimbabwean father, the youngster has already worn the Three Lions jersey at Under-15 level but his Zimbabwean roots have kept fans back home buzzing with pride.

As the new season approaches, all eyes will be on the rising star who is tipped to light up the big stage.
