SOME Mufakose people yesterday abandoned their church services to pay last respects to the murdered son of a church elder.
Pardon Ncube, son of Seventh Day Adventist church elder Charles Ncube, was murdered in cold blood by his younger brother Prince Ncube, 27, following a misunderstanding.
He was laid to rest at Zororo Cemetery.
He was 30. A number of residents thronged Seventh Day Adventist church for the burial service.

Prince is still on the run after stabbing Pardon three times over an alleged girlfriend.
Mufakose residents expressed their anger over murder cases reported in their suburb for the past year.
“Mufakose irikutoda kubikirwa doro first rekuchenura musha nekuti mazara ropa ropa ririkuerera rawandisa.
“Facts on facts togona kuramba tichiti drugs, drugs when it’s actually more than we think let’s pray for protection we no longer safe in our safe spaces,” said some of the residents.
