SUNGURA musician, Mukoma Panga, is looking forward to a fruitful year after ending 2022 on a high.

The corporate lawyer-cum-musician was ecstatic after his song titled Sadza nemhiripiri, featuring Chipoko Chasauro, did well in the end of year charts.

“Thank you all for your support. Our song Uri wangu featuring Agatha took position 30 in the Econet sponsored Radio Zimbabwe show.

“We were also on position six on the National FM Top 50.

“In the ZTV Top 50 Videos of the Year, our two videos Chibhakera and Uri wangu made it into the charts on numbers 30 and 25 respectively,” he said in his post.

He said this is a historic achievement for his team.

“We are the only sungura artist with two videos in the charts.

Uri wangu is the second highest placed sungura video we have produced,” he said.

He promised more songs and videos this year.

“I can only promise new stuff in the new year after yet another successful season.

“We are going to invest a lot in videos since videos are now recommended in brands,” he added.
