Murisa to drop third album

“Nguva Yekusaziva”.
In an interview, Murisa said the album would soon be followed by a video compilation, which would be released next year.
Murisa, who was mentored by Zora artiste Leonard Zhakata, said the album was a fusion of Zora and gospel.
“I applied what I learnt from Zhakata and he is more than a helper and a brother to me. 
“I regard him as an elder because you get inspiration from seasoned artistes like him. I want to show a level of maturity to my mentors, Zhakata and the Charambas, who inspired me to start my own musical project,” he said. The album comes hard on the heels of his second album that has been fairly received on the market.
Murisa refuted claims that he would be viewed as a copycat, if he adopts some elements in Zhakata’s genre.
“A student always follows his mentor when performing or emulates what he has been taught,” he said.
