THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is back in full swing this afternoon with three Week 19 clashes and the spotlight is firmly on Highlanders’ midfield dynamo, Mason Mushore.
Word out of the Bosso camp is that Mushore, fresh from a trip to Zambia, could make a surprise return to the starting XI when Highlanders take on struggling Kwekwe United at Bata Stadium.
The midfielder, who has been on fire this season, reportedly jetted back into the country on Wednesday after a brief visit to Zambia to process a VISA for trials in the Czech Republic.
Bosso will be hoping to capitalise on Kwekwe United’s shaky form. Rooted at the bottom of the log, the Midlands outfit has been leaking goals and confidence. Highlanders are eyeing nothing less than three points to keep their title dreams alive.
Meanwhile, in Harare, all eyes will be on the clash between high-rolling Scottland FC and CAPS United at Rufaro Stadium. Scottland have been splashing the cash in recent weeks, but Makepekepe will be desperate to derail their momentum in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
At Gibbo, Genesis Mangombe’s Triangle United face TelOne in a tough test of tactical depth. TelOne have quietly climbed up the table and will look to steal points from the Sugar Boys on their own turf.
Three fixtures, plenty at stake, and one burning question for Bosso fans; is Mason Mushore ready to pick up where he left off?
All will be revealed this afternoon.
