FORMER Zimbabwe senior men’s football team captain, Knowledge Musona finished 2022 as one of the top two goal assisters in the Saudi Arabia Pro League.

In the year 2022, Musona, who retired from international football in May 2022 managed to get eight assists for Al-Tai Football Club and is tied for the top spot with Al-Shabab FC midfielder Hattan Bahebri, who has the same number of assists.
Musona joined the Saudi club from Belgian top-flight giants Anderlecht in 2021. He has contributed three goals for the club so far this season.
This evening Musona and his Al Tai outfit will face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr who play their home games in Riyadh at King Saud University Stadium, which has a capacity of 25 000.
Ronaldo, who was unveiled at the club on Tuesday, could be available for selection.
The 37-year-old was unsurprisingly allocated the number seven squad number by Al Nassr, who are currently second in the Saudi Pro League.

He is also the top scorer in the Champions League and with the Portuguese national team, with whom he won the Euro 2016.
Ronaldo, completed his transfer to the Saudi Arabia top-flight club on Friday after signing a contract that runs until June 2025.
The deal will see him get more than €200 million per year. — @innocentskizoe.
