The Mayor of Mutare, Councillor Simon Chabuka, congratulated both councillors on achieving this feat during a recent full council meeting.

Cllr Chabuka said: “We would like to acknowledge the achievement of two of our councillors, Cllr Edison Kalulu and Cllr John Nyamhoka, who were conferred with the alderman status after serving for more than 10 years. This demonstrates a show of confidence in their capabilities as councillors, and we would like to extend our congratulations to them.”
