Mutare Sports Club hots up

Weekender Reporter
ONE of the popular local joints, Mutare Sports Club, has taken the local scene by storm, with non-stop leisure activity wooing revellers every weekend.

While the place had in the recent past appeared dormant, it is very much alive and has been slowly regaining its past glory as a hang-out of choice for pleasure seekers.

And spearheading the place’s revival is none other than Mutare’s leading disc-jockey Tichaona ‘DJ Fresh’ Zhuwao, who has been entertaining revellers every weekend.

In an interview with The Weekender, DJ Fresh spelt out the joint’s short term plans as well as their ultimate goal.

“As Mutare Sports Club, we would like to reiterate our commitment to bringing the best deals in as far as entertainmentis concerned. Our desire is to become the first and ultimate choice in town and we are geared towards working hard to achieve that end.

“Already, we have lined up several shows to see out this winter season in style and usher in summer with memorable gigs”, said DJ Fresh, who has made a name for himself on the turntables and as a businessman

To keep the already gathered momentum going, Mutare Sports Club will tonight host the “Old Skool Meets New Skool” session, in which DJ Fresh and Foe-Mix will star in spinning the wheels.

An invited guest emcee will join the duo on the turntables.

DJ Fresh highlighted that variety will define and punctuate their leisure programme for the remainder of the year.
