MWOS and Scottland FC Women teams geared up for debut season in NRWSL

Rivals MWOS and Scottland Women’s teams are ready to battle for supremacy in their debut season in the Northern Region Women’s Soccer League (NRWSL).

The two teams will participate in the 2025 NRWSL campaign following their recent formation.

Officials from both camps are confident of securing promotion to the top flight, although one team earns that ticket.

“Of course, it’s a new project but we are hoping that by the year end we will be on another level,” said MWOS’ Director of Development Charles Madhawu.

Scottland Queen team manager Heather said: “Isu trikutoda kutopinda mutop flight. Hatina kuuya kuzorambe tirimu division one, tikutopinda mu premier league.”

The newly formed teams took part in an induction event hosted by the NRWSL in Harare last Saturday. (Online Sources)
