Ingwebu Breweries’ $1.7 Million expansion project on track

THE Bulawayo Municipal Commercial Undertaking-owned Ingwebu Breweries is currently installing a Beer PET Project valued at US$1.7 million, cabinet said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a post-Cabinet briefing yesterday, Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Jenfan Muswere noted progress on various projects under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

He noted that Minister Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu outlined several key achievements within the first 100-day cycle of 2025.

“Cabinet received reports on progress made in the implementation of priority projects for the First 100-Day Cycle of 2025.

“In the ‘moving the economy up the value chain’ pillar of the National Development Strategy 1, the Minister of Industry and Commerce highlighted the following achievements for projects under his purview: (i) Installation of a Beer Pet Project worth US$1.7 million at Ingwebu Breweries in Bulawayo Metropolitan Province is on course.”
