Mzembi has a case to answer, rules Court

Harare High Court Judge Justice Benjamin Chikowero has dismissed former Tourism and Hospitality Minister Walter Mzembi’s application for discharge at the close of the State’s case, ruling that Mzembi has a case to answer.

Mzembi is accused of improperly donating four public viewing screens valued at US$200,000 to nited Family International Church, Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries, and Zion Christian Church.

The defence case is scheduled to proceed on 3 and 4 March.
