As local schools opened today for the second term, multi-award-winning musician Mzoe 7 has encouraged students to remember the importance of education and remain focused on their studies.

He also stressed the importance of children staying safe even after school activities, urging them to stay away from drug abuse and other social ills.
“Schools have opened today, and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage the young ones to love school, say no to bullying, and no to drug abuse.

“Some of them are final-year candidates, while others will try their luck in the ZIMSEC June examinations. I wish all the candidates well and encourage them to focus on their studies, because education will open many doors for them,” said Mzoe 7.
The Asambeni hitmaker also reached out to parents, encouraging them to look out for their children and support them in fulfilling their dreams.

“Parental guidance is essential because we have seen these young people interacting in unsupervised gatherings and parties, such as the risky Vuzu parties that are notorious among teenagers.

“I encourage honest communication between parents and children, as I believe this helps children make more informed decisions and enjoy a safer environment, especially after school,” he said.

It is not the first time Mzoe 7 has shown love and appreciation for young people.
Last year, he embarked on a series of school visits around Bulawayo, taking time to engage with students and urging them to stay away from drugs and avoid premature sexual activities.

During his candid discussions, he touched on the serious implications of teenage pregnancies, as well as the risks of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections.

In the discussion , the musician expressed genuine concern for the well-being of young people, ensuring that he addressed issues that may sidetrack their futures.
