NAVAYA SETS EARLY PACE

TELONE striker, Washington Navaya is setting early pace in the race for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Golden Boot.

The March Player of the Month is now on seven goals from seven Matchdays and has been the key figure in TelOne’s impressive start to the season.

TelOne are currently in fifth place with 11 points from seven games, their most recent match being a 2-2 draw away to Manica Diamonds at Sakubva where Navaya scored the equaliser from the penalty spot, having being 2-0 down.

Navaya is followed by Simba Bhora’s Namibia import, Isakar Hobasen Gurirab with four goals while six other players are tied on three goals. These include, Ronald Chitiyo of Greenfuel, Brighton Ncube of Highlanders, Billy Vheremu of early pacesetters, MWOS, Mustafa Francis of Yadah and Charles Munyanyi of ZPC Kariba.
