Ncube a hardworking, committed man

ZIMBABWE National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) rural businessman of the year for Bulawayo province, Mr Wilson Ncube is a hardworking, committed, confident and focused individual. His road to success was not easy though. The terrain was filled with hurdles but sheer hard work and determination helped him become one of the most successful businessmen in the province.
Mr Ncube, the director of Wheels Upholstery Centre and Accessories and Redwood, an outdoor leisure spot along Plumtree Road, 38km west of Bulawayo, showed amazing business acumen by diversifying his business.

Redwood is one of the most outstanding drinking places around the city. Many people flock the place during weekends and on holidays.
Wheels Upholstery Centre and Accessories won the most promising small and medium enterprises (SME).

Some businesses in Bulawayo have relocated with some collapsing but for Mr Ncube it has been business as usual. Mr Ncube dedicates the awards to his employees who have been supporting him all the time.

ZNCC business awards are meant to reward excellence in the business sector. These awards are given out annually to recognise few of the businesspeople who would have excelled.

They seek to encourage businesspeople to work hard, develop and come up with new ideas to improve the face of business in Zimbabwe.
The idea behind giving awards is to encourage businesspeople to positively contribute to the growth of the economy so the awards create competitiveness hence high productivity and quality.

ZNCC helps businesspeople to network with various authorities in Zimbabwe. The chamber is dedicated to advancing economic progress through the creation of a good climate for business, developing and enhancing entrepreneurship, identifying, promoting and servicing the interests and needs of the membership.
