Nduna completes third album

Entertainment Reporter
BULAWAYO-based Splash music singer Dumiso “N.Dee Nduna” Moyo will be releasing his third album titled Malindi at the end of next month. In an interview, Nduna said fans should expect the 16-track-album to carry great songs which will be well organised and accompanied by didactic lyrics.
“This is going to be the best album I have worked on this far. I have released two albums namely Happy in 2010 and Siyamukela in 2012, which were loved by fans. Their encouraging words have made it possible for me to do this third album,” he said.

Nduna said he has started working on the album and is always in and out of the studio trying to perfect his work. “Work on the album has started. We have recorded and are busy polishing what we have recorded. This has to be perfect for my fans. It is a special Christmas present for them,” he said.

Nduna said he will be holding a number of shows in Bulawayo to promote the forthcoming album and this Friday, he will curtain-raise for Dan Tshanda at the Splash show at Ampitheatre.

“My music has matured and judging from the days I started I can say I have a good fan base in and around Bulawayo. Those who do not know my music should come see me in action at Ampitheatre,” he said.

On 7 September, he will join other musicians at St Josephs for a show to celebrate 33 years of independence as well as the life of the late Father Zimbabwe, Joshua Nkomo.

Songs such as Baba Wami, Sizobalungisa and Since 1920 on his Siyamukele album have made him a household name among Splash music fans.

He has also released a jingle for Chibuku titled People’s Beer which celebrates the new brand of Super Chibuku.
