Neighbours bully smart woman

Sibusisiwe Sibanda from Nketa suburb in Bulawayo is tired of her neighbour Tabeth Chando (PICTURED) who sends her children to spray her walls with tea every time after she cleans her yard.

Sibanda applied for a peace order against Chando who she said was causing her to have high blood pressure.

a�?This woman has made my life difficult because almost everyday after breakfast she sends her kids to spray my walls with tea. This makes me unhappy because I like my yard clean. I have tried to talk to her about it but if I complain her kidsa�� behaviour becomes worse,a�? said Sibanda.

She added: a�?Your Worship, her behaviour has made my life difficult. Ita��s now even affecting me health wise because I have high blood pressure and Ia��m not supposed to get frustrated. I fear for my health.a�?

Sibanda told the court that the bullying started when she painted her pavements and walls and she believes Chando got jealous.

In her defence Chando said she respected Sibanda and had never bullied her.

a�?Your Worship, MaSibanda is an elderly woman and shea��s more like a mother to me. All of these accusations came as a shock to me. I would never do that to her,a�? she said.

The presiding magistrate Sheunesu Matova did not grant the order but advised Chando and Sibanda to learn to live peacefully.

a�?I advise you ladies to learn to respect each other. Chando, if you have bullied Sibanda or threatened her peace I advise you to stop it,a�? said Matova. .
