THE Matabeleland region has been applauded for being one of the strongholds of NetOne in terms of subscriber numbers.
Although there were no readily available figures, the companyasA executive marketing officer Juliet Ziswa made mention of this as part of the companyas retrospect on 20 years in the telecommunications industry.
a?Let me take this opportunity to thank the Matabeleland region, for its unwavering support because it is one of NetOneas strongholds. We want to thank subscribers from the region for supporting us and I believe most of them are going to benefit from our new innovative packages that we are going to roll out,a? she said.
Ziswa was speaking at the companyas stand at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
She added that NetOne as part of its 20-year celebrations would unleash new products on the market.
a?As we celebrate two decades of connecting the world we are unleashing a number of innovative products and services to ensure efficiency, reliability and consistency to our customers and subscribers. We will be running a lot of competitions throughout the year that are aimed at transforming our subscribersa lives and as the first cellular company in the country we have done a lot for our subscribers and we are proud of that.
a?As if that is not enough NetOne has a whole host of Value Added Services (VAS) that are designed to make our customers and subscriberas lives easier. We also have the widest coverage and lowest rates compared to any other network in the country,a? she said.
