NEW: African Sun invests US$11 million in its portfolio

Hotel group African Sun has invested US$11 million in capital expenditure as it moves to upgrade various properties in its portfolio.

The investment also focuses on enhancing information technology systems.

The group’s move comes as it anticipates positive yields in the hospitality market, driven by increasing demand for meetings, conferencing and events business.

“At African Sun, we will continue to invest in upgrading our facilities so that we give you memories to treasure, stories to tell and the kind of hospitality that feels like a warm hug,” said African Sun.

The group’s collection of properties includes the Hwange Safari Lodge, Troutbeck Resort and Elephant Hills Resort.
