HIGHLANDERS defender Andrew Mbeba has been ruled out of the Warriors squad due to injury.
Two more players, Tymone Machope and Xolani Ndlovu, have suffered the same fate.
“The Zimbabwe Warriors’ technical department confirms that three players have been officially released from camp following medical assessments which ruled them out due to injury — Tymone Machope, Xolani Ndlovu and Andrew Mbeba.
Their release is a precautionary measure to protect their long-term fitness. We thank them for their professionalism and wish them a swift recovery,” said ZIFA in a statement.
The local contingent in the provisional 55-man squad began their camp on Sunday.
