MUTARE-BASED Castle Lager Premiership outfit Manica Diamonds’ top man Fortune Binzi was on target for his team in their 3-1 demolition of Triangle at Gibbo Stadium in Traingle yesterday, to mark his return form injury.

The Gem Boys opened their account with a goal from defender Brian Chikwenya before the free-scoring Binzi doubled the lead for the Jairos Tapera-coached club.

Ralph Kawondera then put the match beyond their opponents’ reach with the third goal for the diamond miners.

Manica Diamonds now remain in third position with 35 points from 19 matches and trail early pacesetter Highlanders by six points

Elsewhere in the domestic top-flight league, log leaders Highlanders’ unbeaten run continued with a slender 1-0 triumph over struggling Black Rhinos while Dynamos beat Sheasham 2-0.

Hwange outplayed Yadah Stars 3-1.
