A fledgling music recording studio based in Chinhoyi, Cashflow Records, recently received state-of-the-art studio equipment worth 16 000 rand from South African-based businessman and philanthropist Dr Reynolds Muza.
The equipment comprises studio monitors, audio interfaces, microphones and isolation shields, among other things.
Cashflow’s founder Lloyd Karira said the donation will go a long way in developing the music industry in Chinhoyi and Mashonaland West Province.
“As a music producer, it pained me to see local musicians travelling to Harare to record their music.
“The musicians now have a recording studio at their doorstep. I am still in a state of shock and I don’t know how I should thank Dr Muza,” Karira said.
