NEW: CCC organising secretary in court for rape

The stinking revelations came to light following the arrest of some suspects

Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) organising secretary, Happymore Chidziva, appeared before Harare Regional Magistrate Mrs Marehwanazvo Gofa today facing charges of raping a 16-year-old girl from Budiriro, Harare.

Chidziva was not asked to plead to the charges.

He was remanded in custody to October 8 and was advised to apply for bail at the High Court.

Mr Lancelot Mutsokoti appeared for the State.
