Online Reporter

THE Covid-19 booster shot vaccination blitz continues to gather momentum with Zimbabwe having administered 130 459 doses to date, latest figures show.

Data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care also shows that as at March 2, 2022, 4,3 million first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines had been administered.

And of that total, 3,39 million Zimbabweans have received their second dose.

With around 3,4 million Zimbabweans having been fully vaccinated, the country’s Covid-19 vaccination rollout programme is among the best on the continent.

The Ministry of Health and Child Care has come up with monthly vaccination targets for each province, as it seeks to ramp up vaccinations.
