Harare City Council (HCC) has confirmed that vaccination at temporary static sites and schools commenced on Wednesday.
The second round of the Covid-19 vaccination blitz began on May 2 following the wider vaccination blitz, which started on March 21, 2022.
“The second round of the Covid-19 vaccination blitz started on May 2 at static sites,” said HCC in a statement.
“Vaccination at temporary static sites and schools starts today. 183 vaccination teams are on the ground, 38 static, 67 temporary static and 78 mobile.”
Government aims to vaccinate 70 percent of the population by the end of July 2022.
