NEW: CSO Kubatana Trust goes under

Online Reporter

Civic society organisation Kubatana Trust Zimbabwe has announced that it is shutting down operations after 21 years of existence.

“After 21 years of squeezing our way into your inboxes, our funky little e-zine – and our operations as an organisation – are winding down at the end of this month,” it said in a statement.

The organisation, believed to be sympathetic to the opposition, is known for the catchphrase “if you are not outraged you are not paying attention”.

Sources say the organisation was struggling to retain donors.
