NEW: Drug arrests rise to 2 902

FIFTY-ONE people were arrested on Monday for peddling drugs, bringing the total number of arrests to 2 902 since the beginning of operation “No to drugs and illicit substances: See something, say something” in February.

“On February 27, 2023, police arrested 51 people across the country in an operation … bringing the cumulative arrests to 2 902,” said the Zimbabwe Republic Police in a statement on Tuesday.
