NEW: Duo arrested for stock theft

Police in Beatrice have arrested two men for allegedly stealing two cattle from their employer at Charter Farm in Chivhu.

In a statement the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the arrest.

“Police in Beatrice arrested Nyasha Masona and Zenyika Masona for stock theft at Charter Farm, Featherstone, Chivhu on 6 March.

“The suspects stole their employer’s two cattle and offered them for sale before an alert buyer informed the complainant and Police leading to the arrest of the suspects.

“The stolen ox and heifer were all recovered.”
