NEW: Fake scholarship advertisements flagged

Online Reporter

THE Presidential and National Scholarships Department in the Office of the President and Cabinet has advised the public that it has not yet published any scholarship advertisements for 2025.

In a statement on Wednesday, executive director of Presidential and National Scholarships Mr Raymore Machingura said all official scholarship advertisements will be communicated through formal print and broadcast media platforms.

“The advertisement on social media, even if it appears to be from official sources, contains inaccurate, incomplete and misleading information as its contents are plagiarised documents from parts of our previous advertisement done in 2024,” he said.

“All responses are addressed to the executive director, Presidential and National Scholarships in the Office of the President and Cabinet through mail and by hand on dates stated in the official advertisements.”
