FC PLATINUM recently got a shot in the arm after getting a US$120 000 sponsorship package for their 2024 campaign from Alliance Health.

This comes after the two parties signed a three-year deal, which will see the Zvishavane giants receive a total of US$360 000 in instalments of US$120 000 annually.

Speaking at the handover of the first instalment last week, Alliance Health managing director Mr Brian Chirema said the donation was part of its corporate social responsibility.

“We recognise the power of sport in fostering a healthy lifestyle, and this partnership aims not only to elevate health and fitness but also to inspire individuals to prioritise their health through the universal language of sport,” he said.

“The collaboration aims not only to elevate health and fitness but also to inspire individuals and prioritise their well-being.

“We look forward to harnessing the collective strengths of our great brands to introduce innovative health initiatives, wellness programmes and educational campaigns that will have a positive impact on the lives of athletes, fans and communities alike.”
