THE Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe (GMAZ) has increased the price of bread flour by 10 percent, citing a rise in operational costs.

In a statement on Tuesday, GMAZ corporate affairs manager, Mr Andrew Kunambura, said:

“The milling industry continues to face serious inflationary headwinds…The aggregated impact of these movements will be around a 10 percent increase in the price of flour to bakers.

“However, individual millers and bakers will continue to deliberate on prices, leveraging on quantity discounts, payment terms and other considerations.”
