Online Reporter

GOVERNMENT will continue to distribute food aid to vulnerable groups to ensure they do not face any hunger following the dry spells that have been experienced during this summer cropping season.

Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare deputy Minister Lovemore Matuke said:

“The number of people who are getting food aid from the Government will increase this year depending on the areas they are coming from and the nature or effect of hunger.

“Government will list all those people who have been affected by lack of rain this year and they will be assisted.

“We are working round the clock to assist people, especially those whose names are listed and already receiving aid and we will continue to assist those people,” he said.
