NEW: Kapangazuwiri’s body arrives today

THE body of the late former ZUPCO Mutare, CPMZ and Tanganda FC midfield genius Wonder Kapangazuwiri is expected to arrive in the eastern border city for burial by end of day today.

Kapangazuwiri succumbed to cardiac arrest in South Africa where he was now based.

In a statement, former national team player and childhood friend of the deceased, Lazarus Muhoni, said. “We want to inform you that the body of our late brother and soccer legend Wonder Kapangazuwiri is departing South Africa tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 3pm and arrive will in Mutare, Zimbabwe on Wednesday. We want to thank you all for all the support you are giving to Kapangazuwiri family in this difficult time. Stay blessed.”
