Liquid Intelligent Technologies says it is committed to empowering local communities through digital connectivity and transformation.
While making a presentation to mark this year’s World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD-2023), regional chief commercial officer for the Central African region, Ms Loretta Songola, said:
“We believe it is a moment to look back, and recognise how much internet connectivity and the larger universe of digital technologies have changed lives in Zimbabwe and beyond, and how these lives will continue to be impacted positively in the coming years.”
“This year’s WTISD theme, ‘Empowering Least Developed Countries through ICTs,’ aligns perfectly with Liquid Intelligent Technologies’ vision of digitally empowering future generations in Zimbabwe.
“The company has played a significant role in Zimbabwe’s digital transition journey by investing in infrastructure, including over 25,000 kilometers of fiber optic network.
“This robust network, supported by proprietary software, ensures instant internet access even in remote areas of the country.”
Liquid recently partnered with the Mbare Arts Centre, helping to transform it into a digitally connected and creative space.
