After re-opening its doors early this month after undergoing refurbishment, many can attest that Cosmopolitan VIP Lounge has bounced back to claim its spot as the most vibrant and elegant night spot in Bulawayo.

The newly restored club exudes elegance, with its sleek new finishes promising top-tier service to patrons seeking a sophisticated spot to unwind.

The club’s re-branding has given it a fresh, modern identity with shades of green, black and navy blue now defining its aesthetic.

Cosmopolitan aims to cater to a diverse crowd, offering a welcoming atmosphere for its patrons as they play popular culture music that is of preference to most clients.

To add on top of that, the club promises to host different intimate international gigs headlined by trending artistes from South Africa and other parts of Africa, like they did before.

To ensure that patrons get the best entertainment possible, former manager Manu Mahaso is back, to help customers adjust to the club’s refreshed ambience and expanded offerings, which now include standard and VIP services.

Cosmopolitan has evolved beyond its former identity as an evening-only venue. The re-imagined club now offers a full dining experience, including a restaurant, spit braai and tshisanyama, catering for daytime visitors as well.

These new additions aim to attract a wider clientele, ensuring that patrons can enjoy the venue, not only for its nightlife, but also for afternoon gatherings with family and friends.

With its motto, “Because You’re Worth It”, the club seeks to maintain its reputation as Bulawayo’s premier nightlife destination.

According to Sky, the club’s marketing consultant, the renovations were crucial to maintaining its premium status.

“In the nightclub industry, every three to five years you need to refresh and update your space because clients get tired of seeing the same thing. You want to entertain, not bore people,” Sky explained.

“Cosmo had reached that stage, so we renovated it to ensure it stays a top-tier club.”
She added that the re-branding was aimed at making Cosmopolitan a club that could rival the best nightlife venues globally.

“We wanted to give Cosmo a world-class facelift, making it a club that can compete with top venues anywhere in the world, not just in Bulawayo. The addition of a restaurant with professional chefs and a tshisanyama now allows patrons to enjoy the space throughout the day, making it an all-day experience for our guests,” Sky said.

She assured customers of their safety as they have a trained security team who will protect the patron’s cars as well as their safety within the club premises.
