MABVUKU has commended businessman and legislator for Mabvuku-Tafara constituency Scott Sakupwanya for the transformative projects that he is spearheading in the area.

Mabvuku resident Mrs Mataka said his philanthropic work in the community is immensely benefitting community members.

“He has done a lot for us, whether in rehabilitating infrastructure, improved health facilities or the opportunities provided to young people through education and sport,” she said.

“He owes us nothing, but he has given us everything. Mabvuku is changing before our eyes, and it’s because of his love for this place. He truly wants to see it different.”

Sakupwanya says his vision is to build a better future.

“My goal is to leave this world better than I found it,” he said.

“If my contributions to Mabvuku can give someone exposure and a better life, then my mission is complete.”

He also called on corporates to step up and invest in communities.

“We have the power to change lives. If we all commit to uplifting the places we come from, imagine the difference we can make,” he added.
