HARARE residents have been advised of a planned shutdown of both Morton Jaffray Water Treatment Plant and Warren Control Pump Station slated for tomorrow to Friday, November 8.

The council’s acting town clerk, Engineer Phakamile Moyo, said the temporary interruption will enable critical scouring and repairs on the main line at key points, including the interconnector from Warren to Alex Park.

The shutdown will impact water supply across all suburbs, except parts of Glen View, Budiriro, Kuwadzana, Mufakose, and nearby high-density areas in the western region.

“Residents are encouraged to conserve water during this time to minimise inconveniences,” he said.

Engineer Moyo expressed sincere apologies for the disruption.
