NEW: Manicaland records Covid-19 new, recovery cases

MANICALAND yesterday had five recovery cases of Covid-19, while three new cases of infection were also recorded, according to figures from the daily update released today by the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

 

This brings the total of recovery cases to 44 963, while the cumulative for infection cases now stands at 29 301 in the province.

 

No new cases of Covid-19 related deaths were recorded yesterday in Manicaland.

 

The province presently has a total of 132 active cases of the pandemic.

 

Meanwhile, the Covid-19 vaccination blitz is continuing around the country; with 4 895 people receiving the first dose yesterday, while 807 received the second dose. 1 467 people were inoculated with the third dose yesterday.
