MANICALAND yesterday recorded 74 new recoveries of Covid-19 cases out of the 198 recorded across the country, figures from the daily update released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care reveal.
The figures also show that yesterday’s new recovery cases in Manicaland are the highest among all the provinces.
At 74, the province has recorded the most new recoveries of Covid-19 cases so far in the week beginning Sunday, April 3; while no deaths related to the pandemic have been recorded over that period.
It means that the national recovery rate remains at 97 percent.
Meanwhile, two new cases of Covid-19 were detected from schools in Manicaland and the province has 227 active cases.
