NEW: Married woman claims ex-boss impregnated her

A MARRIED woman is claiming that her ex-boss is responsible for her five-month-old pregnancy.

This was revealed at the Harare Civil Court after farm owner Lawrence Zulu applied for a protection order against his ex-employee Eustine Munemo, accusing her of harassment.

In her defence, Munemo said Zulu was avoiding responsibility for her unborn child.

“He is the father to my unborn child,” she told the court.

“We started dating last year in January and he promised to take care of my family. I was staying at his farm before I got pregnant.”

Zulu denied the claims saying he dismissed Munemo and her husband after they stole fertilisers from his farm.

“She stole fertilisers and her husband was arrested last year,” he said.

“Her husband is still in custody and I employed someone else.”

Magistrate Meenal Narotam ordered Munemo not to enter Zulu’s premises without consent or threaten him.
