NEW: Mental patient attacks brother to death

The stinking revelations came to light following the arrest of some suspects

A suspected mental patient, Richard Myambo (42), killed his brother Rambai Myambo (33) with unknown objects after the victim had confronted him for assaulting his wife.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the incident.

“Police in Chipinge have arrested a suspected mental patient, Richard Myambo (42) in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Zuzunye Village, Gwenzi on August 19, 2024.

“The victim attacked to death his brother, Rambai Myambo (33) with unknown objects after the victim had confronted him for assaulting his wife,” said the police.

Meanwhile, Police in Masvingo arrested Sydney Katerere (23) for a case of murder in which he assaulted his wife, Edith Samanyanga (18) to death with switches all over her body.

The murder occurred on August 18, 2024 at Ganda Village, Mazuru, Gutu, when the victim had allegedly confessed that she was dating the suspect’s uncle.
