NEW: Mixed fortunes for Gems in Malawi

ZIMBABWE Under-19 netball team have maintained dominance of the Confederation of Southern African Netball Associations Games in Malawi.

The Young Gems registered their second victory and beat the hosts 42-37 on Tuesday.

This comes after they made light work of Namibia, who they beat 42-23 in their opening encounter.

The Zimbabwe senior team also made a remarkable introduction to the tournament, beating Namibia 48-36.

However, they went down 38-34 in the reverse fixture, after which they also lost 45-23 to hosts Malawi.
